Letter to my brother,
Andrew,
I was lucky to have you as my brother and friend. Keifer and Damon adored you as their Uncle, Mentor and Friend. Chuck loved you as a brother and the way you welcomed him into the family as your brother.
Loving and generous, you were always there for us if we needed advice or someone to talk to. During our darkest of days when our little boy Jaeger passed away you were always there for us with love and endless support.
We will miss your laugh, cheeky Dad jokes, pranking and maybe also your T Shirts.
Thanks for the practical advice when I was only 5 of telling me that if you eat pineapple if you are sick it tastes the same coming up as it does going down! After following your advice when I was 5 and trusted my brother I now know for life that this isn't a good thing.
Thanks for teaching my boys how to build a potato gun and shoot people with it!
Thanks for letting me drive your precious Celica half way round the block when I was learning to drive before making me walk home and never letting me drive your car again. I thought I was not too bad considering when you were learning to drive your first car you drove up onto rocks in the middle of Dad's garden and hit the tree in the middle.
Andrew rang me one day asking if we were home as he was down the road and was going to pop in. Five minutes later a Fire Truck pulls up with lights and sirens going and blocking half the road. Traffic chaos is going on as they pull out the water hoses getting my boys to hold them to water the garden. By now all the neighbours were running out checking if we were alright and I'm sure they didn't believe me when I said it was just my brother dropping in. They then proceeded to set a picnic table for their lunch and to stir up the supervisor who was coming to check on them.
As you can see I have endless stories of all the mischief Andrew used to get up to :).
Love you Andy.
Missing you terribly.
